In the section on thralls and berserk, the RAW says that a dose of eitr grants the equivalent of 3 dot boon of the (official) Jotunblut Purview. The 3rd dot of Jotunblut basically says it gives 3 dots to be divided between strength and stamina. It states this works on humans and does not work on animals nor on any supernaturals (including Scions).
However, that's not exact, as additionally the RAW states eitr also lowers Intelligence by 1 (to a minimum of 1). There is also a difference in how loyalty works between eitr and Jotunblut, though that's not that important as for this specific case the giants (cyclopes) are all dead.
Now eitr from a deceased giant lasts only a scene, far less time than Jotunblut or eitr from a live giant. And the specific section on eitr as a trophy does not compare it to Jotunblut (the comparison is in the section on berserks and thralls).
So now my two questions...
1) Does eitr from deceased giant effect supernaturals? (The section on thralls implies no, but the section in the trophy implies yes, "Once consumed, this eitr confers three bonus dice that can be allocated to either Strength or Stamina as the player wishes for the duration of a scene." Emphasis is mine.)
2) Does this bonus allow an attribute to temporarily exceed it's maximum value. For instance, Alex has Strength 5 and Stamina 3, currently the maximum for his attributes is 5. So if Alex could drink this, would he at best get 2 points to Stamina? Or would it allow his strength to go to 8, if that is what I chose? (Note, this question applies not just to Scions, as a strong and hardy mortal could easily have Strength 4 and Stamina 4, and so have the same problem.)
