Sean will look over at Barry and present him with his gift from Ireland.
"I hear you're Christian, so I figured this would be a very nice gift from my trip in Ireland."
Inside the box is an Irish cross, gilded with knotwork patterns.
"Perhaps we should chat about what we'd like in a roommate?"

Barry gets a look on his face like he tasted lemon, but it passes quickly, and he takes the cross and goes, "I appreciate it, man."
As he sits down on his bed opposite Sean, Blackbeard the Newfoundland goes up to Sean, hoping for pats on the head.
Barry then says, "Well, I suppose you better like dogs. One thing I like 'bout this place is I can keep Blacky here with me. I wouldn'ta even gone here if I couldn't."
He looks at the posters on Sean's side of the room, sighs, and says, "Look, I don't want any trouble here. I don't really know you, and you don't really know me. And I've been here before, ya never know what it's like to live with someone till ya live with 'em. We should just try and do our own thing. All right?"

"I'm fine with doing our own thing. I mean...I was just wondering if there was anything you expected, or explicitly didn't appreciate. Cleanliness, keeping certain hours, what the proper etiquette is in certain situations."
Sean shrugs.
"I'm assuming sexiling won't really be an issue, hehe. If you ever want to borrow any clothes, that's cool. I have a good amount, though I think your tastes would prolly run in a different direction than mine. Either way, yours to borrow."
