After both learning Sonia has a monkey half-brother and Alex storing his shotgun in his dresser, Alex will search out Sonia. Once he finds her, he says, "I hope I'm not interrupting, Sonia, but there's something I feel is important to talk to you about. You see, I have a shotgun in my room, and I noticed a lot of others here have guns too. And the thing is I am concerned about your half-brother. Does he know better than to play with guns since he could shoot himself or someone else? Or is there something special we should be doing to make sure no one gets hurt?"

Sonia looks a little uncomfortable, mostly due to Alex's size, and says, "Thanks for letting me know. I know a few of the others have guns, too. He's a little troublemaker, but he listens to what I say."
At that, with a puff of smoke, the monkey in question appears on Sonia's shoulder. Before Sonia can say a word, the monkey jumps onto Alex's shoulder and starts poking through his hair.

Alex tries to slowly crane his neck and look out the corner of his eyes to see the monkey. As he is doing this Alex gives a little chuckle and says, "Aren't you the friendly little fellow? I'd, um, be tempted to caution you about strangers, but, um, I bet you'd reply by telling me not to try to teach one's grandmother how to suck eggs."
"I'm not sure how much you've been around your half-sister, but, um, just in case you haven't noticed yet, people groom themselves differently and we don't usually have the lice, fleas, and, um, other insects found on your cousins in the wild..." continues Alex in a voice that gradually slows down.
Looking back at Sonia, Alex asks, "Does he understand English, or do you normally speak to him some other way?"
