Gabriella & Alex Chat, Post Dr. Lord Chat

[Alex Efasteyo]

After his chat with Dr. Lord, Alex will be searching for Gabriella to talk with her....

((If not in her room Gabby can usually be found reading on the quad or behind the dorms, near the trees, practicing her gymnastics [cursing in various languages when she fails] You find her by the treeline.))

After a couple of hours of wandering around trying to find Gabriella, Alex eventually finds her practicing her gymnastics. He stops to admire her graceful form as he patiently awaits a natural break before interrupting her. Once she seems to pause for more than a few seconds, Alex will very loudly clear his throat and say, "Gabriella, I don't really want to interrupt, but I was hoping you could spare a couple of minutes to speak with me."

After finishing a tough pass with a vicious shout, "CAZZO!!" Gabby hears Alex and walks over. ((workout clothes are sports bra style top and yoga pants...you can see a tattoo on her sides {www.tattooimagesonline.com/Tattoos/Gallery/Tribal_Stomach_Tattoo_11293.jpg}

"What's up Alex?"

"Tale una bella bocca non deve essere mai hanno motivo di pronunciare una tale brutta parola.," says Alex with a slight shake of his head.

"Well, it's probably just my rather active imagination, but I wanted to talk to you about a couple of suspicions I have about Bob. He's the archer guy here that people say looks like that actor that played Legolas in the movies."

The one that was flirting with Jahi?

[Alex Efasteyo]

"Yeah, though it's got nothing to do with that...except sort of tangentially. It actually has to do with Ren, but my thinking on this is, um, convoluted...to say the least."

"You see," Alex begins then pauses as he starts to turn a bit red. "It's that, " Alex continues as he starts to look like he'd rather be anywhere else than here. "I mean..."

After a longer pause during which Alex turns beat red, Alex finally blurts it out saying, "I don't mean no disrespect to Ren, but I think he looks kind of like a girl. And you see, there were a bunch of girls there at the time when Jahiera and Ren approached. But I was wondering if Bob has had just made an honest mistake when greeting the 'ladies,' or if maybe he was some twit getting off on putting down Ren."

After a deep breath, Alex says, "So, um, I decided maybe I should check into Bob a bit. I figured if he was a jerk, maybe Cory might be able to help me figure out a prank or two to teach him a lesson."

"I don't like bullies of any kind, and I didn't want someone to get away with picking on Ren and pretending it was an accident. Of course it could have been an accident, so that's why I decided to ask Dr. Lord about Bob."

"What with his adventuring and all, I figure Dr. Lord is new to the school. But he already has been around long enough to have some sort of history with MacLaggin, and he seems to know a whole lot about what goes on here, and what goes on with us."

"So even if mortals don't usually register on his radar, I was surprised when Dr. Lord said he had NO idea of who this Bob guy was. And Dr. Lord emphasized that NO. And then the tangential connection with Jahiera, I figure Jahiera will be spending a lot of time with Bob practicing archery, so I guess I sort of got a bit paranoid and began to wonder if maybe Bob was some sort of supernatural that has some sort of magical ability that is preventing Dr. Lord from noticing him."

Alex sighs and says, "I know so far this would make the plot of about the silliest conspiracy story ever invented. It's just I do think it should be investigated. And, um, well, it seems like with your reporter skills and all, that there would be no one better to finding out the truth here. I mean the odds are it's nothing, but, um, it bothers me, and I just don't know who else to turn to for help on this."

[Gabriella Velas]

Gabby smiles, "Well without being there to see it myself, chances are Bob was slighting Ren. But I would expect Jahi to pick up on that sort of thing. As for if he is supernatural...no clue. My guess is if Dr. Lord says no, then he isn't. Again I wasn't there when he spoke to you so I can't tell you if he was emphasizing that or not." She smiles at Alex, "I don't see how a few tricks could hurt. And I can always see what I can find out about him."

"Um, I obviously could have been clearer."

Alex pauses a few seconds to better recall his conversation with Dr. Lord, then says, "When I asked Dr. Lord about Bob, I didn't ask about supernatural stuff. I just asked if he knew anything about the archer guy Bob. And that's when Dr. Lord said he had NO idea who I was talking about."

"Like I said, um, most mortals might not register on Dr. Lord's radar, so to speak. But this Bob guy seems like he's kind of well known on the campus and I expect he might be influential with Jahiera due to their archery connection."

"So that made me wonder if maybe the reason Dr. Lord doesn't know about Bob is because maybe Bob's got something like a 'Don't Notice Me, Dr. Lord' spell. Or, um, you know what I mean...I hope."

"Also, I really didn't think you'd know anything about Bob yet since you're as new as me and missed the incident like I did. I just thought you probably have some good investigative skills and such that helped you figure out the dirt on people."

"And I don't want to do anything to Bob if all this stuff is in my head. That just wouldn't be right. I was just maybe hoping that over the next week or three that maybe you could try and dig a little into Bob."

"But, well, if you don't think it's worth looking into, I'll understand."

[Gabriella Velas]

I'll look into him.

I don't want anyone hurting Jahi, she's a pretty cool chick. It very well may be that there is nothing wrong with Bob. If that's the case I still don't want him taking advantage of her. She never went through high school so all of these social things are new to her.

If there is something supernatural about him that is important too.

[Alex Efasteyo]

Alex looks greatly relieved and says a heart felt "Thank you, Gabriella, I really appreciate it."

"I guess I'm sorta starting to feel a bit like we're all family, and I just don't cotton to the thought of someone picking on one of our own. But I don't want to be a bully and pick on someone that doesn't deserve it."

"I just, well, anyway, sorry for interrupting your practice. I'll let you get back to it now."

No problem. And Alex? You can call me Gabby. My friends do.

[Alex Efasteyo]

Alex smiles and says "Thanks Gabrie...er...Gabby, I will."

And with a little wave, Alex turns toward the general direction of the dorm and starts wandering back that way.
