So, I've never actually used IRC before, so I don't really know how to work it. Using the Dice Script is one thing that I'm just baffled about. Any help?

The first thing you have to understand is the dice script is written in mIRC's own scripting language. If you're not using mIRC, the dice script won't work without you (or a friend) porting the code for you. Assuming you are using mIRC. The questions I have is how far have you gotten? Have you made it to the Magicstar server? If not, you'll need to connect to there. Once connected to the server, you need to connect to our channel, #fo_rpg. (Note the script should work on other channels, but you'll still need to do the previous steps to play with us.) The other main thing you need to do is add the dice script to mIRC. You copy and paste the following code from www.forumopolis.com/showpost.php?p=3218245&postcount=149 into the ALIASES section of the script editor. Note there may already be something in the Aliases tab of the script editor, in which case just go to the bottom and paste it. Click OK and you should be ready to go. The format is /dice NumberOfDiceToRoll NumberOfAutomaticSuccesses ... or something like.... /dice 5 1 If you get stuck, ask more questions here. Or depending on mutual free time, I'll be glad to help you in IRC.

Rockin!! It worked. Thanks so much. Now I just need to find a dice script I can use while on IRC on my Droid X. Anyone have an answer for that?

I'll ask around in my dorm to see if anyone has a dice script for Android phones. Someone should have it, considering half my floor is CS majors >3<

That would be awesome. I currently have AndroIRC, but there are a couple on the Market.

So, talked to my 'Droid programming dormmate. He said that there's no way to get a dice app and IRC app to work in tandem. You'd either need an IRC app that has a built in dice script already, or see if it's possible to install a dice script into the IRC app that you're currently using. Sorry "/
