Greetings fellow students of Harmon University:
Regrets for my unfortunate tardiness in joining you for our special program. I understand that most of you have been there for a few days or so, and are getting to know one another. I hope that this bond you forge won't be so strong that it leaves no room for me to find a place within it.
Unfortunately, my lateness was unexpected, but also exciting for me. My father decided that there were some experiences I should partake of before becoming a college man, and so I have spent the past number of weeks enjoying the fruits of his homeland and that of my ancestors, Ireland. (If any of you would like anything from here, I'm perfectly willing to pick it up and bring it with me).
My father told me that we should be here for a bit longer, but I should be joining all of you very soon.
To my roommate, feel free to let me know of anything our room might require (and possibly let me know about the clothing storage space situation, so I know if I need to bring extra).
Either way, my father and I are off to experience a night of binge drinking (he feels that, as an American, I don't have a full grasp of what this means), so to wrap this up, I am accessible from this email, and would welcome the chance to chat with any and all of you before we meet in person.
With great anticipation of our meeting,
Sean Regan

Hi Sean!
This is Alexander Efasteyo - though you can call me Alex, most people do. I'm one of your fellow classmates at Harmon University. Even though classes haven't started yet, I feel like my education is already beginning. It's a pity you aren't here with us. Though you sound like you're learning plus having more fun.
Thanks for the offer of bringing something, but I think probably it's not a good idea for me. The only thing I could think of was a bagpipe to try to learn to play. But since everyone here seems to have supernaturally sharp hearing, I just think it'd be a bad idea.
And a word about your roommate. He's probably going to be awkward. He doesn't believe in gods, just the Christian God. He has some other issues as well. But maybe we'll have knocked a bit of sense into him before you get here.
Thanks for the email and enjoy your time in Ireland. I look forward to your arrival.
Alex

Good evening Sean!
My name's Ren Panganiban and I live across the hall from you in 1104. It's nice to hear that you're having a good time with your father and not kidnapped or anything (if you weren't here on campus by the first day of classes, I was going to bring it up the possibility with Dr. Lord - our "counselor" of sorts). Have a good time with your father, we'll see you soon enough!
Thanks for offering to bring back souvenirs. If it isn't too much to ask, do you think you could pick me up a Celtic Christian cross? The kinds found in the touristy areas would be fine, I just want to have something for my desk. Ireland's a Catholic nation and it'd be kind of cool to compare their cross with the ones from back home - I know we have Catholic orders in the Philippines, but I never got a chance to saw one before I left for America.
And you might want to bring snacks or some other peace offering to your roommate. He's... not going to be the amiable person to deal with (he thinks the whole Scion thing is "pagan bullshit". Dr. Lord tried to straighten him out but I'm not sure how well his methods work), but maybe you'll be able to switch roommates after the first semester/quarter/whatever system we're on.
Ack, such a horrible note to end an email at. Say 'hi' to your dad for us, have fun, don't get too drunk, and we'll see you soon!
Ren

Dear sean
Hi my name is Dave and I'm one of your hall mates. Ireland is a pritty cool place (I spent one week a year there on holiday, they have some great stouts and ales, so if you can somehow sneek them past international securety that would be awesome) I do brewery mannagement and so have always loved the Irish (my 'dad' was part irish as well)
I'd surgest though if you are going out drinking you stay out of any pubs on the high street-there full of darn tourists and you don't get the proper irish atmostphear, head down some of the back streets, and if your in belfast, the boars head is an amazing pub with some real amazing local ales, The Red boar is also an amazing ale with a mix of deep hops and hints of fruit
other than that enjoy time with your Dad and we will see you when we get back!

Hi Sean! My name is Gabriella and I live down the hall from you. Sorry about your roommate...he's...special. Thanks for the offer to bring something but don't worry about it. My mother packed so much stuff I'd have no room to put anything.
I have a jaguar named Tepini that if he is sleeping it's best to let him. Otherwise he is a sweetie. Do you have any pets you are bringing? Our floor is like a mini terra incognita so only we can get to it, meaning our pets can roam free.
We've already encountered our first few titanspawn and it appears there is a sleuth of Nemean Bears nearby that are terrorizing some dwarfs, so fun to be had there I guess.
Can't wait to meet you, hope you are up for some fun as Dan is a mirco brewer and likely the only one besides me who is into parties (of our band. The other scions have a kid I am sure will be happy to party.)
Gabby
