From a compartment, he takes out a piglet as he did the day before. The piglet is in frozen stasis as Dr. Lord, in a well practiced motion, cuts out its heart

[17:28] <griffinguy24> Catherine takes out a papyrus scroll and starts chanting as Dr. Lord eats the piglet's heart. Fire once again spouts from his eyes and mouth and he tears a gaping hole in his chest, "The nine levels of Mictlan and the thirteen levels of Acopa are open to me. Let us find the missing third of this girl's soul!"
[17:30] <griffinguy24> With that, Dr. Lord grabs Gabby's head in his left, non bloody hand... and as he does so, suddenly the world erupts.

[17:33] <griffinguy24> As everything turns into a psychedelic haze, after about a minute, the group sees two figures standing on opposite sides of the circle. One looks like a young, dark skinned Latino man with golden eyes. The other is an old, pale skinned Latino man with green eyes.
[17:33] * Gabriella mutters "Father?"
[17:33] <griffinguy24> Dr. Lord mutters, "Oh hell"
[17:34] <Dave_jones_dan> "this doesn't sound good Dave says"
[17:35] <griffinguy24> The golden eyed man smiles, "Hello, Gabby," He smiles, "Alan, SO good of you to be involved in the family business..." and then turns to the older man, "And my twin brother too, oh, this is an unexpected treat!"

[17:35] * Dave_jones_dan looks very very confused
[17:37] <griffinguy24> The older man nods, "And I see we have a Scion of that brute of a Scandanavian sky god along with us," Quetzalcoatl rolls his eyes, "Alan, why are you doing this to these children?"

[18:25] <griffinguy24> You ride on the back of Quetzalcoatl as he takes you flying across the sky, upwards in a slow arc to the clouds. As this happens, you hear a voice behind you humming the theme to The Neverending Story

[18:28] <griffinguy24> Your father is floating behind you, turning into a puff of smoke. He whispers in your ear, "Well, daughter, you have become quite skilled at getting your way... I suppose I must reward that... but I also must correct that..."
[18:30] <griffinguy24> There is a sharp pain as a razor wind cuts a glyph into the back of your right hand, before solidifying into the Aztec glyph for Water, "That symbol will give you power over water, but you must give it the most blessed water in return. [18:34] <griffinguy24> The puff of smoke vanishes and Quetzalcoatl reaches a crescendo, and the sky seems to ripple. The serpent opens its mouth, and Quetzalcoatl ascends into the Overworld. He is gone fifteen full minutes before he returns, carrying in his hands a bundle wrapped in a cotton blanket

[18:38] <griffinguy24> He opens the bundle. Out flies a bird... it's an odd bird, looking like a combination of a turkey and a vulture. Its head is the red of a ruby, covered in iridescent blue jewels. The bird's feathers are a bright green, though the tips of its wings are a crimson brown, like dried blood. Spots like the eyes on a peacock's tail trail the bird's back

[18:40] <griffinguy24> Quickly, you descend to the ground, the gods leave silently. Dr. Lord smiles, "This is your father's OTHER creature. The Jeweled Fowl, Chalchiuhtotolin... well, a son of the original. One of the most powerful mystical forces in the world...

[18:13] <Gabriella> "Oh god." she says when the vision passes
[18:13] <Dave_jones_dan> "whats up" Dave asks
[18:14] <griffinguy24> Luciano looks to Catherine, and they nod to each other.
[18:14] * Gabriella looks to Dr. Lord nervously "I don't think you should do this."
[18:15] <griffinguy24> Dr. Lord goes, "Oh, really? Well, darn, too bad. Guess I'll just have to call it quits"
[18:15] <griffinguy24> You don't need a Knack to know he's quite relieved
[18:16] <Dave_jones_dan> Dave stands next to gabby "what changed?" he asked
[18:16] * Gabriella shakes her head
[18:18] <griffinguy24> Dr Lord says to the two Gods, "If I cannot do this, can you?" Q: "It depends... We need to know if she is ready..." Plead your case and roll Charisma + Empathy.

[18:23] <griffinguy24> T and Q look to each other. Q nods, "All right... we can do this for you... but it cannot be undone..." he then begins to shimmer like hot air, turning into an enormous feathered serpent. He lowers his head to you, beckoning you to ride him
[18:24] * Gabriella goes over and gets on his back
**No one else would have come along at this point**
[18:25] <griffinguy24> You ride on the back of Quetzalcoatl as he takes you flying across the sky, upwards in a slow arc to the clouds. As this happens, you hear a voice behind you humming the theme to The Neverending Story
[18:26] * Gabriella looks back
[18:28] <griffinguy24> Your father is floating behind you, turning into a puff of smoke. He whispers in your ear, "Well, daughter, you have become quite skilled at getting your way... I suppose I must reward that... but I also must correct that..."
[18:30] <griffinguy24> There is a sharp pain as a razor wind cuts a glyph into the back of your right hand, before solidifying into the Aztec glyph for Water, "That symbol will give you power over water, but you must give it the most blessed water in return. Heart's blood. From a human. A human who isn't you. Once every thirteen days."
[18:31] * Gabriella gasps in pain
[18:34] <griffinguy24> The puff of smoke vanishes and Quetzalcoatl reaches a crescendo, and the sky seems to ripple. The serpent opens its mouth, and Quetzalcoatl ascends into the Overworld. He is gone fifteen full minutes before he returns, carrying in his hands a bundle wrapped in a cotton blanket
[18:35] * Gabriella waits silently
[18:38] <griffinguy24> He opens the bundle. Out flies a bird... it's an odd bird, looking like a combination of a turkey and a vulture. Its head is the red of a ruby, covered in iridescent blue jewels. The bird's feathers are a bright green, though the tips of its wings are a crimson brown, like dried blood. Spots like the eyes on a peacock's tail trail the bird's back
[18:39] <Gabriella> "Is that a..." she searches her brain for the name
[18:40] <griffinguy24> Quickly, you descend to the ground, the gods leave silently. Dr. Lord smiles, "This is your father's OTHER creature. The Jeweled Fowl, Chalchiuhtotolin... well, a son of the original. One of the most powerful mystical forces in the world...
[18:41] <griffinguy24> It looks you up and down with a sideways glance, then makes a loud, raucous squawk
[18:41] * Gabriella just nods looking at the bird in wonder
[18:43] <griffinguy24> "I reccomend taking Animal Boons so you can understand him... and disguise him. He can't turn into a tattoo like Tepini can... I can teach it to you, if you'd like..."
01[18:43] <Gabriella> "Yes definatly." she says rubbing the back of her right hand
[18:46] <griffinguy24> Dr. Lord looks at the tattoo, his eyes turn black, and he shudders, "Well, I think I'm done here..." As he turns and walks away, you stare at the Chalchiuhtotolin... and you see a vision, but without the shuddering and collapse you usually feel...
[18:48] <griffinguy24> [[Mystery]] Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl are talking to each other, but you cannot make out their mouths, and their voices are so similar you can't distinguish them... "That was the heaviest risk we have ever taken." "It is for the best. He still has the capacity to overthrow us, but it is less certain now"
[18:48] <Gabriella> "They worry about you." she calls to Dr. Lord
[18:50] <griffinguy24> "The girl troubles me, though" "True, I was not expecting her to have that insight... I fear she may be a difficulty as things go on..." "Hmm... We both have plans for her" "Yes, yes... But I think some insurance is in order..." "You mean... Oh, I see..." "Than it shall be done?" "I can see no better outcome."
