Dave spent the rest of the morning repairing and re-painting any dammage done to his bike by the bear before riding in to town to explore and to get some ingredents for his brewing kit

{{And because I was in class all afternoon, I missed mass posting xDDD}}
By the time the others were starting to pile into the kitchen, Ren was finishing up on his food. He gave a smile to the other scions before retreating back into his room. It was empty by the time he got there, meaning Hank was up and doing... well, whatever the ROTC does early in the morning.
That's a good thing, Ren thought to himself as he plugged his laptop into his charger, and then to the large screens on his desk. Time to finish this problem.
~*~
Much later, Ren extracted himself from the intricacies of code and numbers, feeling his body protest from being in the same position for so long. "Crap..." he muttered to himself as he got out of his hunched over position on his still messy death. The teenager left his room, rotating his arms to try and get full range of motion to return to the limb. Upon entering the kitchen, Ren blinked, surprised to see Alex wiping down the last remains of breakfast. He couldn't help but laugh lightly - there mere thought of Alex being domestic like that wasn't something Ren would have thought of the Scion of Hephaestus.
"Hey, so I didn't get a chance to talk to you this morning," Ren started as he grabbed a bag of popcorn to nuke in the microwave. Alex just spent the last several minutes cleaning up the kitchen, the least he could do was eat something that wouldn't make a mess (hopefully). Turning to the other scion, Ren wore a sheepish look. "And I owe you an apology for the other day. I'm sorry that what I said made you uncomfortable."

"Hey Ren. And no, you don't owe me an apology I am the one that owes you an apology - a big apology. I guess in many ways since my Visitation I've just been drifting along in a daze, and I now see I am the one of our group who least understands the score on Titanspawn. And even if I had been right, that would have no excuse for yelling at you."
After a brief pause, "It's just sort of like a sore spot for me, I over reacted without thinking at all. I really am very sorry, and I hope you can forgive me."
After another brief pause, "You know, I think there are some Hot Pockets in the freezer."

Ren gave the other scion a small smile. "It's all right. You didn't do anything wrong, so there's nothing to forgive." He shrugged. "It's understandable that you would react strongly when a sore spot like that is hit. Hey, at least you got a visitation. It might have been under the worse possible circumstances, but you got one. Mine was somewhat... Unusual, even when one considers the whole 'kid of gods' thing. If it wasn't for my friend back home, I wouldn't have a clue at all."
The popcorn was done and Ren was making a grab at it when Alex's last sentence registered. "Seriously?" He looked down at the slightly burnt popcorn and thought for for a moment, before going to the freezer to make a Hot Pocket for himself too. "Want one?"

Alex grins and says, "I'd love a Hot Pocket, thanks. They're not just brain food after all, they taste great too. Hmmm, maybe we can get a small freezer and install in on our floor, so we can load up on quality foods like this."
"And, um, thanks for being understanding. It's a pretty rare thing for me to lose my temper. Still, every once in a while..." Alex sighs.
"So, any plans for the the day?"

Ren picked out another Hot Pocket and put the two of them in the microwave. "Knowing Fate though, if we tried to do something as sensible as that, it would backfire. We'd buy like, a possessed freezer or microwave or something."
"Like I said," Ren started, deciding on getting a bottle of water from the fridge, "it's not big deal. Everyone has those times when that sort of things happen."
At the next question, Ren shrugged and took a swig of water. "Naw, not in particular. Finna e-mail that girl from the other day eventually, though..."
{{So, "finna" is another slang term similar to "gonna". It's popular in the area that Ren is from as of, three years ago. I'm not sure if it's as popular now though.}}

"Finna?" Asks Alex with his left eyebrow raised.

"Er... Gonna? Sorry, it's a Maryland phrase. Or maybe just Southern Maryland phrase."

"Ah, got it...though never heard that bit of slang before."
"Erhm, if it's not too much trouble, could you let me know more about that computer club when you find out? I like computers too...though right now I do find myself more interested in the hardware. I built both my computer and my laptop."
"And, uh, speaking of girls, you aren't by any chance related to Angelica?"

"I doubt that you'd hear it much outside of where I'm from," Ren said with a shrug.
"I'll let you know when and where we'll meet. I'm sure they wouldn't mind me bringing friends along. The more the merrier and all that, right?"
Ren gave Alex a puzzled look. "Angelica?"

"Thanks, Ren, always good to learn more about computers," Alex says with an enthusiastic grin on his face.
"Angelica Panganiban? Well, she's like a famous Filipina actress. I was surfing the net and, um, just put in your last name to see if anything might come up. Judging by the first page on Google, Angelica is probably the most famous person with your surname."

"Oh, that Angelica. I actually had to ask Uncle if she was related to us when I was younger, because kids were always asking me when I went to school. Seems like she's a very remote cousin or something.[/color]" Ren smiled, "She never came to any family parties, but she did occasionally send a card to apo - er, my grandmother - for holidays."
{{lol, I didn't even think about her. Oh geeze, I grew up watching her in movies, too.}}

"Well, um, changing the subject then. I was wondering if you thought about that Nemean Bear's teeth or claws? I'm not really sure they could do much to enhance any of the rest of the Band's Relic weapons, but I thought that maybe it could enhance yours. What do you think?"

"Having the Doukuya be able to pierce through Nemean hide would be an awesome advantage, especially if more of them pop up in the forests surrounding the schools. But, I really haven't given it too much thought. We could also make knives or something for you and Dave, since you both are more likely to get up close and personal with any beasts we're up against."

"Um, yeah, a knife like weapons made from Nemean claw/teeth would be great souvenirs for us all," Alex says with a grin. "Not to mention useful when fighting however many more Nemean Bears - or possible other Nemean beasties - that are out there. And if we have luck, erhm, not exactly sure if it would be good or back luck though, I imagine we might all end up with one."
"I was just asking you because, uh, your weapon seemed to me like it might be the most likely one to be adapted to use a Nemean part. I don't really see how one could combine it with a gun, a machete, or a bow. I didn't see Dave even use a weapon. And as for me..." Alex pauses and has his cestus form on his hands, flickering from bashing to lethal forms, before apparently vanishing. He continues, "Well my Relic Caestūs are already quite powerful, and I am not sure if they can be further enhanced.'
"I agree with what you said about the Nemean parts for weapons, and expand it to include all of us. It's just your personal weapon might be a logical one for enhancing...though I will ask Coach MacLaggin about mine too."

Ren's eyes widened a bit at the gloves that formed over Alex's hands and changed forms. "There's no harm to see if my Doukuya can be modified, though I can't see any way for the bow or gun to be modified by the claws, either."

"Yep that's sorta how I see it too,"
"Well, gotta be going. I need to spend more time studying medicine. See ya."

"Aiight, see you." Ren handed Alex his hot pocket, grabbing his own before he headed off to his room again.
